101 Tea Gardens in Mae Salong, Northern Thailand. This area is also known as the Golden Triangle, with a history of opium trade. With 101 expertise and native peoples tea growing wisdom we have become part of the Thai Royal Family's movement to replace opium with tea growth so as to provide and more safe and stable income for the tribal people and overseas Chinese living in this area. The plantation was visited by the Royal Family and 101 was commended for our efforts here. The pure air and clean environment make it an ideal place to grow local and taiwanese varietals, especially high mountian wulong and green teas.
